Privacy Policy

SlickChart · Effective date: July 17, 2026

Who we are: SlickChart (“SlickChart,” “we,” “us”) is a practice-management app operated by SlickChart, LLC, a California limited liability company, Pleasant Hill, CA. Questions: support@slickchart.app.

1. Overview

SlickChart helps beauty and wellness professionals (“Providers”) manage their practice — client charts, appointments, forms, photos, product recommendations, messaging, and payments. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

There are two kinds of people in SlickChart, and it matters which one you are:

For information a Provider enters about their Clients, the Provider is responsible for that information and for having the right to store it (see Section 6). SlickChart processes it on the Provider’s behalf.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

We use information to: provide and operate the app; authenticate your account; sync your Square data when you connect it; send transactional emails (verification, password resets); send product updates if you opt in; respond to feedback and support; keep the service secure; and comply with law.

We do not sell your information or your Clients’ information. We do not use Client health-adjacent information for advertising.

4. AI features

Some SlickChart features can use AI to draft suggestions (for example, note or message drafts) or to transcribe voice notes. These features are optional and can be turned off in Settings. When used, the relevant text is sent to Anthropic (Claude) to generate a response, and any voice-note audio you record is sent to Groq for transcription. Do not rely on AI output as medical advice.

5. Service providers (subprocessors)

We use trusted companies to run SlickChart. Each receives only what it needs:

We will keep this list current. If we add a subprocessor that materially changes how data is handled, we’ll update this policy.

6. Providers’ responsibilities for Client data

If you are a Provider, you are responsible for:

You are the party that decides what Client information to collect and why. SlickChart acts as your service provider for that data.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption of data in transit, hashed passwords, and encryption of connected Square access tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your data from within the app at any time: Providers go to Settings → Delete account, and Clients go to Privacy & Data → Delete my data. This performs a real server-side deletion — the account/record and its associated data are removed, connected Square tokens are revoked, and any subscription is cancelled. You can also email support@slickchart.app to request deletion. We delete or de-identify data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to comply with law, and some information may remain in backups for a limited time.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise these rights, email support@slickchart.app.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us at the email above; we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. Email preferences

Transactional emails (verification, password resets) are required to use the service. Marketing/product-update emails are opt-in and every one includes an unsubscribe link.

11. Children

SlickChart is for professionals and is not directed to children under 18. Do not create an account if you are under 18. Providers are responsible for any legal requirements that apply when a Client is a minor.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
